What started as a small production experiment grew into a 12-person editing agency serving high-demand tech and AI creators.

So we built the system we desperately needed — and turned it into the operating platform used by agencies across Europe and the US.

OUR STORY STARTS WITH A YOUTUBE CHANNEL
The Beginning:
Two People, A Camera, and a Programming YouTube Dream
Five or six years ago, EditWise founder Marko Živić began learning Adobe Premiere and After Effects out of necessity. He wanted to launch his own programming YouTube channel — and to create great content, he had to learn to edit it himself.
What started as self-taught experimentation quickly turned into a passion project shared with Ljubica, who became deeply involved in editing and production. Together, they created several YouTube channels, learned the craft from scratch, and developed an intuitive understanding of what creators really need.
The seed was planted.
Lumaris Studio Was Born From One Simple Insight:
Tech Creators Needed Editors Who Actually Understand Tech
So they launched Lumaris Studio — a specialist editing agency built inside Marko’s software company.
Within days, outreach emails brought in clients who were frustrated that typical editors didn’t understand their niche. Lumaris grew fast. Too fast, in fact.
Clients loved the output. But internally?Chaos.
When the Team Hit 5 People, The System Broke
By 12 People, It Was Unmanageable
Lumaris reached 5 editors — and suddenly:
⚠️ Editors missed deadlines because tasks were spread across Trello, Asana, and Todoist.
⚠️ Client comments lived in Frame.io, WhatsApp, email, and Drive.
⚠️ Time tracking was in Clockify, hidden behind dozens of tabs.
⚠️ Budgets and profitability were buried in Sheets.
⚠️ Team leaders couldn’t see who was doing what.
⚠️ Revisions got lost.
⚠️ Clients received videos with missed changes — and the agency looked unprofessional.

To regain control, Marko built a small, very ugly, extremely limited internal tool. It combined:

But it worked — and suddenly:

✅ time entry reporting became possible,
✅ clients got faster revisions,
